News & Updates

Google’s Better Ads Standards

As you may be aware, Google began ad filtering in Chrome on February 15 on websites that do not follow the Better Ads Standards. Legacy.com has joined the Coalition for Better Ads’ “Better Ads Experience Program.”  However, we also need all of our newspaper partners’ compliance on our pages to fulfill our promise to our users. Therefore, we are requiring that our partners must follow the Better Ads Standards for any advertising code placed in the header, footer or local advertising placements of your Legacy.com pages. Your domain’s status will be monitored by our team and if Google evaluates your site as Warning or Failing, it may result in the deactivation of the locally controlled elements of your Legacy.com pages.

If you have any questions, please reach out to marketing@legacy.com.
